Subha & Michal

{Sringeri Vidya Bharathi Community Centre Etobicoke Ontario Wedding Photography}

We had a great time photographing Subha & Michal’s wedding extravaganza – they were legally married a few months ago in a small civil ceremony so these two ceremonies were actually weddings #2 & #3 for them! Married 3 times over – pretty awesome I think!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: wedding extravaganza/marathon with friends and family

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: dancing with friends and family from around the world
Groom: first dance

Best wedding related decision: venues – doubled as indoor/outdoor sites for photoshoot(s)

Favourite detail: multiple outfit changes!

Advice for future brides & grooms: bride to other brides – designate tasks to others on the day-of!!; groom to other grooms – be prepared for the photo marathon and go with the flow

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? designate people to pack items (picture frames, guestbook, leftover favours, gifts, etc.) that need to be taken home from the reception hall at the end of the night

Best surprise of the day: our spontaneous, non-choreographed first dance (we ran out of time to rehearse!)

VENDORS: Ceremony Location: Sringeri Vidya Bharathi Community Centre (morning); Bolton United Church (afternoon) | Reception Location: The Royal Ambassador | Officiant (if not a church ceremony): N/A | Cake: Sharon’s Cakes | Dress (designer and/or store): handmade by bridesmaid’s younger sister, Diana Marcuzzi | Wedding Planner: N/A | Flowers/Decorator: Julie’s Flowers (Woodbine Centre) | Hair/Makeup: Hair – Juliana of You N’ique Hair Design (Woodbine Centre); Makeup – self | Caterer: The Royal Ambassador | DJ: Live band – Mr.System

WEDDING SONGS: Processional: Here comes the bride | Recessional: Wedding March | Entrance: don’t know…played by live band | First Dance: Sea of Love – Robert Plant and the Honeymooners

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): photo 384 –> we were made to look like royalty in a palace (though it was just a concrete hallway with skylights) (below left)

One of our fave wedding couples ever… the lovely Michelle & John
