Jenny & Rob

{Windermere Manor Wedding}

We enjoyed every beautiful minute of this fantastic couple’s wedding day! Kudos to the wedding party for being such good sports about taking photos outside (in short dresses!) – you all were awesome! I agree with the bride that it is so important to work with fantastic vendors both as a bride AND as another vendor – my thanks as well to Russell of Rossini Floral and Julie-Ann and the Windermere Staff for being so fabulous!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:
intimate, romantic, magical, ‘winter-y’, elegant

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day? Way too many to pick from the whole day was perfect! Some of our top favorites…
Bride: Seeing Rob for the first time, walking down the aisle with my dad, our first dance, walking into the Windermere to see a crackling fire, tonnes of candles and all of our favorite people and our last picture as the snow gently fell – pure magic!
Groom: Seeing my gorgeous bride for the first time, having a good time doing photos with all our friends, the ambiance of Windermere, and all the music and dancing!

Best wedding related decision: The ‘trifecta’ of pros we had the pleasure of working with that made our day even better than we could have ever dreamed. It was seamless, beautiful and ours to enjoy. Thanks to Heather, Russell and everyone at Windermere

Favourite detail: The unbelievable flowers and our custom cake topper from Etsy shop `Naked Peggies`

Advice for future brides & grooms: Take the time to make every detail something that you love. Choose a team of professionals to help you, our day was perfectly smooth, we didn’t lift a finger, but we did enjoy every second!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We would have a video of our first dance – oops

Best surprise of the day: Everything! When we walked into Windermere it looked even better than we could have imagined! And the beautiful big snowflakes adding to our Winter Wonderland.

Anything else you’d like to add: Working with the HRM team (Heather, Niki and Holly) was fabulous! They gave everything to make our pictures look gorgeous – including literally the coats off their backs…and scarves and gloves. Thank you so much for all the memories and for making our adventure so fun – hiking through the snow in formal wear was so worth it!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The night time picture with the snow gently falling – it really captures exactly what we wanted our wedding to be like…its a little taste of how magical it really was!
