Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Country Elegance

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: So many things! The weather, the hour long RV ride to the church, walking down the isle with my Dad to meet my future husband
Groom: The moment she walked down the isle… when you see the picture of me you can tell how I felt

Best wedding related decision: Holding a tent reception on our farm. It gave us so much more freedom to plan the day how we imagined it.

Favourite detail: Arriving on the red carpet from the horse and carriage ride driven by the groom’s father.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Relax and take time for each other as you plan the wedding so that you remember what it is all about.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We would have written our own speeches prior to the ride to the church!

Best surprise of the day: We were fortunate to have two of Gerhardus’ uncles make the trip from the Netherlands to celebrate with us

Anything else you’d like to add: We were truly blessed to have such an amazing day to celebrate with our family and friends. Friday the 13th turned out to be the luckiest day of our lives.
