Kim & Fred

Windemere Manor Wedding

We were so happy to capture Kim and Fred’s wedding day at the picturesque Windemere Manor. This venue has a great indoor ceremony option (which worked out well on this rainy day!) I love the intimate feel that the room creates. Thankfully we also made it outside for portraits of the newlyweds.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: romantic, fluid, timeless.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:about to walk down the aisle and seeing Fred’s huge smile, hearing Mr. & Mrs. for the first time, and spending such a special day with our closest family and friends
Groom: seeing Kim turn and start walking down the aisle, after all the anticipation and planning it was finally here.

Best wedding related decision: Not leaving for our honeymoon right after the wedding. By waiting we were able to relax and enjoy it more, making it more of a holiday we will never forget.

Favourite detail: feather hair piece, the flower colours

Advice for future brides & grooms: ENJOY YOUR DAY! Don’t sweat the small things that happen, because they do and by the time it happens you can’t do anything about it. Let things go. Relax, breathe, and enjoy your day.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not a thing, it was the greatest day of our lives, and any bumps that happened only add to the memories!

Best surprise of the day: seeing everyone enjoy themselves so much. We never could have imagined some of our guests relaxing and having the time they did. Seeing everyone enjoying the night and having a good time made all the planning and chaos worthwhile!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): Hard to choose! Either the one of us with the storm clouds in the background, or the one where Fred and I are kissing through that big window, with the chandelier in the background. Both were intimate moments that were candid and caught, and they capture the romance and feel of the day. love those pictures! (see below)

Anything else you’d like to add: It was great working with you guys! Lindsay and her assistant totally helped me relax when I was getting ready, and were so helpful throughout the day. They were able to capture everything we were hoping for, and we are left with truly beautiful pictures!
