Karmela & Lambros

London Ontario Wedding

Rain, rain, go away! We have been really patient with the weather this season as there is really nothing we can do to control it and it makes for great light both before and after a storm hits, but this is just getting ridiculous!

Karmela and Lambros both had traditional Greek and Macedonian traditions with family while getting ready for their wedding. They also had a beautiful ceremony before making our way over to the reception venue for portraits. I was beginning to think the rain would never end, but just as I was setting up my lights for indoor portraits, I looked outside and did a little happy dance as I could tell it had finally stopped raining! We quickly made our way outside and got all of the portraits of the wedding party and family done before heading in for dinner.

There was a ceremonial pig dance to start off the meal. The roasted pig is carried through the hall by family and friends dressed in traditional outfits. Each table has a chance to taste the pig and donate money to the new couple starting their lives together. As you can see from the photos, they are off to a great start!

Congrats!
