Jen & Scott

London Ontario Wedding

Are you ready for the cutest wedding pictures ever??? I LOVED JEN & SCOTT’S WEDDING!!!

Granted, I may be a bit biased…. I know I keep going on this year about how special so many weddings are to me, well Jen & Scott’s was EXTRA special to me. Their courtship started in my basement!!! I have known Jen & Scott seperately for many years, and a few years ago Scott’s band was playing in Toronto as part of Canadian Music Week. Jen and some of her friends were in town as well and somehow we ended up having an impromptu party at my place. It was a Tuesday or Wednesday night so my hubby had to work early the next day…. he was soooo mad at me for having people over and we were banished to the basement!! Not the most romantic place to meet, but it certainly worked for them because these two have been head over heels in love ever since that fateful night!!

I also loved Jen’s wedding because well, it reminded me so much of my own wedding (great minds think alike!!)…. parent’s backyard – check, short dress – check, lots of bridesmaids & no groomsmen – check, the amazing Designs in Bloom for flowers & Sticky Pudding for catering – check!! Jen is currently doing her Phd in Art History and her art background definitely was put to use with all the beautiful details. I don’t think I could have taken a bad picture if I tried.

That’s all I’m going to say because I’ll start getting sappy… I think it’s obvious in the photos how excited they were to get married! Jen & Scott – it was an absolute honour to be asked to document your day. You two are a fantastic couple and I am soooo happy for you both!!

Picking out what dress to wear!

Chris was not the makeup artist, but helped Mia with some touch ups!

Spying on the reception setup during photos

Right after the ceremony… so cute!!

Kinda jealous of this killer shot Alison took!!

They had pashminas “if you’re cold” and parasols “if you’re hot”

During dinner, Jen sat down and took everything in for a few minutes (something I recommend that all brides should do!)

I switched into my party dress and became a guest after 10pm… I bought the dress I’m wearing in Chicago in March and this was my first and quite possibly last chance to wear it, at 11 weeks pregnant it was a little tight around the belly!!

…. but made sure to keep my camera handy to catch moments like the boys shotgunning beers & fully dressed guests jumping into the pool!
