There is something we just love so much about fall weddings! Even on a rainy day, the colours just captivate us and we always seem to have a great time. Bridget and Mike’s day was no exception and from start to finish it was a great party! Congrats guys!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Scottish/Fall themed, Fun, traditional

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?

Bride: Surprising Mike with the step stool to have out first kiss as husband and wife at the same level. His face was priceless!
Groom: Having Bridget get up on a stool for our first kiss as husband and wife

Best wedding related decision: Besides marrying Mike, hiring Heather to capture and be a part of all the wonderful memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Favourite detail:  Our Favours.  Little Band-aid dispensers.  Choose them because Mike and I are both paramedics.

Advice for future brides & grooms:  Take a few moments throughout your day to take EVERYTHING in because the day goes by way too quickly and leaves part of it a blur.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again
? Not a single thing!  We would even keep the rain.

Best surprise of the day:
When the flowers arrived I saw that Jim was able to find thistles, after he said he couldn’t to get them, and included them in our flowers.  Brought tears to my eyes.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
This was so hard to choose.  We have so many favorites.  We narrowed it down to two.  393 For a brief moment the sun made an appearance during family photos and it felt like our Grandparents who couldn’t be there were looking down on us.  And 692 because it felt like the first private moment we had, just the two of us with nobody watching and we were caught by Heather in the old jail cells.
