During my initial meeting with Tara and Chris, we hit it off right away. I had been looking forward to their wedding for a long time and was not disappointed! Tara and Chris also happen to be a referral from Jason and Henrietta who are one of my favorite couples! I photographed their wedding on May 20th, 2006.

After taking some photos of the girls at Tara’s parent’s house, we headed off to the William MacKenzie Inn to meet the guys. The weather was looking a little grey, but thankfully the rain held off for the ceremony and portraits. I love photographing weddings at venues like this as they offer so much character and it is always fun to explore the grounds looking for great photo locations.

We literally took photos until the sun disappeared (which happened a lot sooner than it should have!). You may notice a few wrestling moves and costume pieces in the photos below. This carried out the Mexican Wrestling themed reception that Tara and Chris put together! We left just as the dinner was about to begin, but could tell that the guests were in for a wild night!
