Rosita & Nicole

{Liuna Gardens Stoney Creek Ontario Wedding Photography}

The love that radiated from these two beautiful brides on their wedding day was simply magical! What a wonderful day to be a part of! I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking – I think they capture the warmth & love of this celebration so wonderfully!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Love, fun, nature, friends and family

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Nicole: Watching Rosita walk down the aisle towards me, saying our vows, getting roasted during the speeches, feeling all of the love in the room for us, how beautiful Rosita looked, being pronounced WIFE and WIFE!!
Rosita: Saying our vows, signing the marriage license and looking up to see all of our friends and family grinning from ear to ear, walking in to the reception to the Candombe band playing, the speeches, our last dance of the night

Best wedding related decision: The Photobooth! We still hear from guests about how much fun they had in the photobooth, and it’s a blast looking through the scrapbook that guests glued their pictures to, and wrote a message beside.

Favourite detail: The Fingerprint Tree guestbook. Instead of having our guests sign a traditional guestbook, they put their fingerprint on a framed, poster size tree drawing, and signed their name beside it. It now hangs in our living room, where we can see it every day.

Advice for future couples: Relax, have fun, and remember what the day is all about – your love! Everyone is there to share in the love you have for one another, and they are too busy celebrating with you to notice any of the little things that may go wrong. The day goes by SO quickly, so do your best to take all the little moments in.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We wouldn’t forget our marriage license at the hotel!!! Thank you to part of our wedding party, Marc and Kelley, for getting it to us just in time for the wedding!

Best surprise of the day: How smoothly everything went (besides the marriage license scare, of course!). We had definitely expected to experience a lot more day-of catastrophes.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): Wow, what an incredibly hard question! It changes everyday, because we love them all, but since you’re forcing us to choose, it would be # 146. It does such a great job of capturing the love and fun of that day.

Anything else you’d like to add:
Heather and Niki did an amazing job! They were so much fun to work with, and managed to keep us on track the entire day…which is not always an easy task with 8 women, including the brides, in the wedding party! Their knowledge and direction was awesome, and they sometimes felt like additional wedding planners, the way they helped out with non-picture related issues too! Heather did a great job of listening to what we wanted for the day, and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures. Thank you for such beautiful photographs!
