One Light Workshop

Pittsburgh

The One Light Pittsburgh group… that’s me in the blue shirt on the right. In early March my dad and I travelled to Pittsburgh so I could attend Zack Arias‘ One Light Workshop. Was the trip ever worth it!!! Zack is a portrait photographer who specializes in publicity photos for musicians. I’m a huge fan of his work and it was great to meet him in person! It was an incredibly inspiring and informing day – we went from 9am to almost 2am learning about Zack’s background & approach to photography, technical details & equipment and also did some hands on shooting. The next morning, I attended the first half of a business workshop run by Robin & Brenda of Bellissima Photo. It was also very inspiring, I only wish I could have stayed for the whole thing but we had a long drive home ahead of us and wanted to see some of Pittsburgh before we left. We only had a few hours to explore Pittsburgh but in the little time we had, we managed to find a great photo gallery and an awesome little cafe. We also had the chance to take the “incline” up to the top of the city. I can’t wait to put my “One Light” skills into action! – Heather Here are a few shots I took during the workshop:
