Nancy + Rick

Nancy & Rick are a beautiful couple inside & out and I loved getting to know them leading up to and at their wedding! There were so many smiles all day long, every minute was just a dream!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: rustic setting with elegant accents

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: seeing the smile on Rick’s face as I was walking down the aisle. It was the best feeling in the world knowing I was about to marry my best friend.
Groom: the look on my wife’s face when Samantha (her bridesmaid from England who couldn’t make the wedding) Skyped in during the reception.

Best wedding related decision: getting married at Bellamere (who made the whole wedding planning process so fun and stress free) and hiring Rossini Floral to do our decor and flowers

Favourite detail: the gorgeous flower arch over the head table created by Rossini Floral

Advice for future brides & grooms: don’t sweat the small things and just think about the big picture. The day goes by in the blink of an eye so don’t forget to stop and take a moment to take in everything that is your wedding day!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nothing, the day couldn’t have been more perfect

Best surprise of the day: How smoothly everything went. Not one thing went wrong! The weather was perfect, everything was on time, and not once did we get nervous or anxious. It was the most perfect day Rick and I could ever ask for.

Anything else you’d like to add: We decided to have an ice cream bar at our reception by Marble Slab Creamery. It was a place where the groom had worked for ten years prior to starting his career. The heat of the day coupled with the uniqueness and popularity of Marble Slab made it a huge hit for the guests to pas the time as the wedding couple was out doing photos.
