From the minute I sat down with Megan and Jeremy to chat about their wedding plans, I loved them! Their enthusiasm, love for each other, zest for life and laid back attitudes carried through all their wedding plans and into the big day and every second spent with them both in person and even our emails back and forth were an absolute joy! Their November wedding, although a bit chilly, had perfect fall colours and the most incredible sunshine peeked through as we were finishing up our photo session. We loved capturing the smiles, happy tears and laughter that were present throughout the whole day. Some light rain at the end of the night was the perfect way to end the perfect day – everyone knows how much we love magic rain photos around here!! Thanks again to Megan and Jeremy for being such lovely human beings to spend time with – I know we will keep in touch!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Celebration of family & friends

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: First dance as it was a chance to be with my new husband
Groom: Looking out at the reception and seeing all of our friends and family

Best wedding related decision: Keeping it simple

Favourite detail: Wedding cake (as it was the first thing we booked and we loved cake)

Advice for future brides & grooms: Do not over complicate, remember what the day is about (which is getting married)

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Jeremy not putting a pen in his pocket and accidentally putting ink on Megan’s dress (Tide Pens saved for the win!)

Best surprise of the day: Tide pens can fix anything! In seriousness how smoothly the day went because we were very relaxed

Anything else you’d like to add: Someone told us to “choose to enjoy the day”, no matter the small details which go wrong, this will make sure that you only have good memories. And the things that go wrong “are good stories”
