Marianne & Ian

Thornhill Ontario Wedding

Marianne and Ian were married on a perfect autumn day. I was so surprised by how warm it was that I left my jacket behind! The new Mr. & Mrs. offered to return it  and brought our son Connor a Buzz Lightyear toy while he was at Sick Kids (which he still sleeps with every night:) Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day and for being so thoughtful to our family.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:  A celebration with loved ones

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Walking down the aisle with my daddy
Groom:  Having everyone on the dance floor cheering for us during the games played at the reception.

Best wedding related decision: Getting married on the day that we did. Couldn’t ask for better weather – who would have thought – 24 degrees in October!

Favourite detail: Having late night KFC delivered to the reception hall for a midnight snack!

Advice for future brides & grooms: On the day of, don’t sweat the small stuff. Trust those who have worked alongside you to carry it all out.  Sit back, relax, smile, & enjoy the party!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? The groom. Just kidding. Everything was perfect.
Best surprise of the day: Seeing my grandmother’s reaction to my speech. She jumped right out of her chair and smiled from ear to ear.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): 397 — Because it captures the beautiful weather and how happy we are!
