Lianne & Gary

There is nothing better than a bride and groom that can’t contain their excitement…and Lianne and Gary most definitely fell into this category. I loved every second of this wedding!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: An Elegant, Simple, Happy, Fun, Evening Affair

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?

Bride: Seeing Gary at the alter (picture 207)

Groom: Lianne looking beautiful in her dress when she walked in

Best wedding related decision: Keeping to a budget! It can be so easy to get carried away, but remembering that it is just one day helps keep it in perspective.

Favourite detail: My hair! My bridesmaid Natalie did the most amazing (and professional looking!) job…. the $7 H&M flower  also worked perfectly (picture 130).

Advice for future brides & grooms: Take the time to be ‘in the moment’.  The day goes by so quickly you’ll want to make sure you are only thinking about what you are doing at that exact moment.  A friend told me to take step back and take ‘snapshots’ throughout the day and it definitely helped us remember special parts of the day.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  Have a slightly longer ceremony.  We wanted to keep it short, but 5 minutes seemed a little too short!

Best surprise of the day: How smoothly everything went, and what great speeches were given.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):  414 – This action shot reminds us of an old Hollywood scene.  The sunlight is just right and I love the way the wedding dress is captured (being held up by both of us).
