Krista + Brian

I absolutely LOVE this couple! We had so much fun photographing their wedding! Watson Porter Pavillion was the perfect venue for an intimate rustic wedding in a gorgeous natural setting! They had a wedding vendor dream team with some of our favorite vendors which always is such a treat and makes for a perfect day! Congrats Krista & Brian – thank you so much for having us capture your wedding day!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Rustic, intimate, nature, love, happiness

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: My favorite memory was walking down the aisle. I rushed to get to the aisle, and was 15 minutes late. But all the panic was worth is once I saw my soon to be husband at the other end smiling at me. I also liked hearing at the dance, “how did Brian pull of getting you to walk down the aisle to Metallica?!” I simply laughed and said that was me. I also liked when my daughter took the mic from the DJ to say without being prompted “Thank for coming to the wedding, I love you all”

Groom: My favorite memory was watching Krista say her vows and when our daughter got up and said the dinner prayer.  I also for some odd reason laughed when I saw Haley, our daughter, yawning during the ceremony.

Best wedding related decision: The venue and my wedding team, HRM Photography, Through the Lens Productions, Culinary Catering, Patzee’s Decorating, and Music Central Entertainment.

Favourite detail: I loved my head table. I had this huge plan to make this B + K to go on the fire place. I ditched it the night before because it was made out of Bristol board and turquoise wool. The day before my maid of honour stopped by with the metal M that that my decorator hung for me. That mixed with my last minute flower set up and the head table looked amazing.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Don’t rush. Stop, look around, and take it all in. Don’t stress, Everything will be amazing no matter what.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would take my husband aside for 10 minutes to take it all in.

Best surprise of the day: I liked that my husband wrote his vows on a napkin because he knows I’m a crier.
