Another gorgeous Windermere Manor wedding! Kris and Carl’s wedding was exactly as she describes it below – casual, intimate & fun! I love that her two bridesmaids were her sister and cousin – you could tell how close these ladies were and it made for a great atmosphere.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Casual, intimate, and fun!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?

Bride: Seeing Carl for the first time during our reveal. I have no problem picturing him whenever or wherever but for some reason, I had no idea how he would look and couldn’t visualize it. It was also amazing when I walked down the aisle and saw my friends and family around me.

Groom: I don’t have a favorite moment… The entire day is my favorite!

Best wedding related decision: Having the ceremony outside. The day was hot for most of the locals but, we had always wanted the ceremony outdoors so we stuck to our plan.

Favourite details: 1.) My veil. My cousin and bridesmaid Sarah let me use it as my something borrowed.  2.) The pictures of Carl and I when we were kids displayed beside the guest book.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Expect things to not go as planned and realize that this is okay. Take the time to look around and enjoy yourself because the day goes by fast.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? No. Plain and simple. No.

Best surprise of the day: As much as I cringed at the thought of having my (bride) not so flattering pictures shown to our guests, my mom’s slideshow was pretty cool. It brought back some very fun memories. Thanks Mom!
