Helen & Kevin

Where to begin… Helen & Kevin’s wedding was such a perfectly lovely day I am at a loss for words! Just look at those smiles – you can tell they are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! Weddings on family properties are always my favorites, there is a great laid back mood in the air just being “at home”. Patzee’s absolutely transformed Helen’s parent’s horse arena into a magical reception hall, it took my breath away! The following day we met up with Helen & Kevin again for some incredible “day after” photos on horseback…. stay tuned!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: enchanted, unique and relaxed

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: getting ready, losing my earring in the grass, walking down the aisle, taking photos, the food and the late night dance party…. So basically the whole day:-)
Groom: The first moment I saw my beautiful bride.

Best wedding related decision: Getting married at the family farm

Favourite detail: The candy buffet, the daisy balls and the hanging flowers in the big tree

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the day…it goes too fast!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? nope….not a thing….

Best surprise of the day: Seeing the arena transformed for the reception.

Anything else you’d like to add: a huge thank-you to everyone who helped with the wedding and to everyone who came and made the day so perfect:-)

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): the one under the tree with hanging flowers because it captures the feel of the day, ethereal and somewhat surreal…. (below)
