Erin + Jeff

{The Old Court House London Ontario Wedding Photography}

When I first met Erin and Jeff I knew we would have fantastic time at their wedding! They are super laidback and fun loving (as was their wedding party) and it made my job so easy! I LOVED the bridesmaid dresses and Erin's colour palette. Samirah from Design in Bloom made amazing centerpieces and bouquets to fit Erin's bright colour vision!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:  Fun, classy and colourful

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Taking a few moments during the reception just to sit down and watch our friends and family having a great time at our wedding.
Groom: Seeing Erin walking down the isle.

Best wedding related decision: The best decision would have been saying yes when Jeff asked me to marry him. After that, I would have to say going with all of the vendors that we picked. I didn't realize just how much they would help shape our wedding day. They each added a their own touches that made the day turn into something incredible.

Favourite detail: The flowers. They were so amazing. They were so big and so colourful. They definitely made a statement in the room which is what I was hoping for. I was a little sad that I wasn't able to enjoy them after the wedding for very long because we left for our honeymoon but I'm pretty sure everyone that got to take some home appreciated them.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Ask your vendors for their advice. They know what they're doing and can give great suggestions.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Even thought it was cold and rainy for most of the day, I wouldn't change anything. Everything turned out better than either of us imagined. Our main goal for the day was to have a great time celebrating with our family and friends.

Best surprise of the day: It was great to see how much people enjoyed the photo booth. Even after Niki left, everyone kept putting on all the props that were still there.

Favourite Photo: There are so many photos that I love for so many different reasons. The pictures in the jail cells turned out better than I had imagined given how hard it had been to fit everyone in there. I love photo #426 because of the lighting behind us. I think that really makes the picture look amazing. The photos where I have my rainboots on are awesome (#504 or #511). It had been cold and rainy all afternoon but those pictures were taken just as the sun finally made it's apperance late in the day. I think these photos really show how much fun we were having that day. My absolute favourite photo has to be the night time picture in front of the Old Court House (#744). I was so happy that we were able to get outside to get this photo. There is just something about it that seems almost magical.
