Demitra is my friend Dina’s husband’s cousin and was also the maid of honour at Niki & Loui’s wedding in June. As soon as I heard of her engagement I was hoping she’d get in touch with me about photography… and sure enough she did! Demitra used her & Alex’s engagement session as an opportunity to wear her beautiful outfit from Niki & Loui’s wedding again – right down to the fab Christian Louboutin shoes!

I love working with clients whose friends & family I’ve already photographed – they always have full trust in my abilities! Demitra & Alex gave me full creative control in terms of choosing locations. I’ve wanted to do a shoot at the sculpture outside of the TD Tower for quite some time now… so glad I got a chance to, last time I was in Toronto it’s either been moved or my sense of direction is completely off as I couldn’t find it again!

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Barrie in July 2009!
