Deanna & Carmen

{Fermenting Cellar Wedding}

My dear friend Alison sent Deanna and Carm our way and I am so happy she did! After an awesome urban Toronto engagment shoot, I knew the wedding would be a great day. It may have been the hottest day of the year (not sure if this is a fact, but it sure felt like it!) we channeled the heat for some steamy photos:)

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: working out at 7am with my bridesmaid.  Also, high-fiving carm after our vows.  And saying “I do”, of course!
Groom:  They are all good!  Exchanging vows.  Getting ready with my boys at the condo before the ceremony, and saying my speech at the reception.

Best wedding related decision:  The photographer, of course!  Also keeping everything downtown Toronto.

Favourite detail:  All of the candles at the venue.

Advice for future brides & grooms:  Simple is always more elegant!  Graciously accept advice from those who provide it, but make sure you feel good about the choices you make.  Don’t take criticism too seriously… everyone has thier own idea of what a wedding “should be”.

 Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not that we can think of!

Best surprise of the day:  The best surprise was that there were no surprises!  I was surprised at how calm everyone was, and how smooth the day went.  Everything just came together so easily!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): I’ve attached it… it really captures the moment– the time right after we said our vows.  It’s a really beautiful shot!
