Carly & Adam

{Sarnia Ontario Wedding Photography}

Carly is the cousin of one of my best friends Krista, who was also the maid of honor! I have know Carly for a long time, so photographing this moment for her was such a pleasure! I loved that we visited the spots that meant the most to Adam & Carly throughout their relationship, especially the fry truck, which is where they had their first date! I stayed til the very end and danced the night away with my friends and then got to capture one last photo of Adam & Carly walking away to their hotel at 1am!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:  Sweet, Simple, Romantic

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: When Adam forgot what to reply during our vows. We all had a good laugh and it set the tone for the rest of the day.
Groom: Seeing Carly for the first time.

Best wedding related decision: Having the ceremony outside. The summer had been pretty miserable up until that day. It was beautiful!

Favourite detail: Our cake topper! Adam had a blog called the ugly pony when we first started dating. The caketopper’s groom had a horsehead, like the blog mascot, and the bride had a unicorn head.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Remember to laugh!!! And tell your wedding party to give you reminders throughout the day to take it all in.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not a single thing.

Best surprise of the day: When a friend of mine brought our dog, Daisy, to the ceremony for pictures! She’s an important part of our family.
