Ashley + Curtis

{Belcroft Estates Wedding Photography}

This was our first wedding at Belcroft Estates and we felt like kids in a candy store! It was such a beautiful spot with endless possibilities for photos. Ashley & Curtis are laid back, funny and completely in love with eachother…it was such a pleasure following them around all day! I am also very happy to see that Ashley’s favourite memories from the day are spending time with Curtis during the photo session:) I know it isn’t always easy to dedicate the time on your wedding day to sneak away for photos, but it is worth every second for beautiful memories to look back on!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Rustic, nature, country, fun

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: The little moments during picture-taking when I could be alone with Curtis
Groom: Seeing Ashley for the first time

Best wedding related decision: To go with the venue we chose.  It was so picturesque and had the exact vibe we were looking for.

Favourite detail: Photo wall in the barn.  It was so nice to point out pictures of family members from years ago and see their reactions!

Advice for future brides & grooms: Don’t sweat the small stuff

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? More time for photos to take advantage of the beautiful setting we were in.

Best surprise of the day: When Curtis opened his guitar

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The two of us walking away from the camera, down the treed lane next to the Desoto.  It’s a gorgeous picture and we have received so many compliments on it.
