I absolutely adore intimate backyard weddings. April and Steve were married in their parent’s backyard on a perfect summer’s day. We had a great time following this beautiful couple (and their energetic wedding party) around for their portraits. The highlight being our speedy trip out on the golf course to take advantage of some seriously spectacular light. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day AND for the incredible review below. There is no greater reward than a happy couple in love with their photos!
Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Music Food Fun Family Friends
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Looking at Steve when we were saying our vows.
Groom: When I first saw April that day, walking down the isle.
Best wedding related decision: Choice of groom
Favourite detail: My wedding dress
Advice for future brides & grooms: Stay calm, carry on
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? More air conditioning! And bring a bustle back-up!
Best surprise of the day: The weather — it was perfect
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): Tough question – we love so many of them. We really like the series of just us two sitting on the grass at the golf course.
Anything else you’d like to add: HRM was one of the best wedding decisions we made. What a pleasure it was working with Lindsay and Amelia – they were so amazing: professional, comforting, brilliant, creative. They were such a pleasure to have around, we are so happy with our pictures and cannot thank them enough.
