Nova + Matt
{Elm Hurst Inn Ingersoll Ontario Wedding Photography}

I can't believe it's already been two years since Nova & Matt's beautiful wedding at the Elmhurst Inn! When Nova asked me and Cynthia from One12Photography if we'd consider photographing her wedding together, we both answered with a resounding YES (and a few squeals!). With Nova's many years of experience in the wedding industry as a photographer herself, it was no surprise that her wedding was absolutely picture perfect (Having Lauren from Twelfth Night Events as her planner definitely helped as well!!). The way her groom Matt looked at her both during their first look and again when she walked down the aisle melted my heart! Photographing this awesome couple was a dream! Happy Anniversary Nova & Matt - wishing you many more years of happiness together!!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Celebration with Family and Friends.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Walking into the hall together for the first time to Rammstein because we had forgotten to pick a song, it was hilarious.
Groom: Seeing Claudia for the first time during our first-look before the ceremony.

Best wedding related decision: Having everything in one place at the Windermere. Danielle was amazing.

Favourite detail: What Russell did with the flowers and head table.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Get someone else to do the planning for you - the stress leading up to that short ceremony is insane.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Started planning immediately after booking the venue.

Best surprise of the day: How much everyone enjoyed themselves. We love a good party.

Commentary coming soon...

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Rustic chic with elegant touches.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:  The crazy-fun dancing during the reception, especially leading the traditional Greek bride’s dance “Oraia Poy 'Nai I Nifi Mas” with my family and friends.
Groom: Seeing Victoria walk down the aisle.

Best wedding related decision:  Our venue, the 100 year old barn at the Exeter Golf Club is beautiful inside and out, with great staff and a beautiful golf course for our ceremony and photographs.

Favourite detail:  All of the handmade touches my mom and I made together.

Advice for future brides & grooms:  If you are planning your own wedding, make sure you have a clear idea of what you want the day to be like from the start.  Once you have found it, stop searching the internet for more ideas.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  Other than getting a videographer, nothing.  It was a great day.

Best surprise of the day:  Not losing Victoria’s car keys when they were placed on top of our SUV by a friend.  The keys survived the 30 km drive, at 90 km/hr, from our accommodation to the wedding venue.  Talk about lucky!

Anything else you'd like to add: It was so special to have our baby girl Ryann as a flower girl.
