Spring wedding closeup

Leslie and Tyler had a beautiful spring wedding at Bellamere Winery. We loved capturing this sweet couple's big day with their lovely families - everyone at this wedding was just so nice and pleasant to spend time with! Shooting when the spring blossoms are out can be impossible to time, but this lucky couple was blessed with some gorgeous blooms that we made sure to take advantage of!

Katelyn + Jason
Beamsville Ontario Wedding Photography

Bride and groom sunlit image photo

Katelyn and Jason were so wonderful to work with and trusted my vision to go outside in the freezing cold to get some awesome magic light after the their beautiful ceremony and the night time photo! These two are absolutely adorable and so in love, they had a small celebration with their closest friends and family at the Redstone Winery in Beamsville which by the way was the first wedding they hosted at their location! Katelyn and Jason kept thanking me for coming out to Beamsville to London, honestly I can never say no to wine country, it's just so beautiful no matter what season! Congrats Katelyn and Jason, I had such a great time capturing your memories for you!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Classy, elegant, intimate, romantic.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: The first look and walking down the aisle!
Groom: Seeing my bride walk towards me down the aisle and the night time pictures!

Best wedding related decision: To have a cocktail reception rather than a sit down meal - so much less work and equally as amazing!

Favourite detail: My aisle - it was exactly how I imagined it with the candles and rose petals

Advice for future brides & grooms: Relax!! This is the best day of your life, no matter what happens. Stressing about the best day of your life seems so counterintuitive.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not a thing.

Best surprise of the day: Feeling more beautiful than I ever thought possible

Anything else you'd like to add: Where's the question about the amazing photographer?! Niki, you rock and totally made the most of our short timeframe.

Ashley + Mike
Hacienda Sarria Wedding Photography

Where to begin with this fairytale wedding day? Ashley and Mike have an amazing love story that started many years ago when they lived down the street from each other growing up. Ashley is a wedding planner at the incredible venue that is the Hacienda Sarria and not a single detail was overlooked! This was by far one of the most beautiful wedding days we've ever photographed! Today marks their 1st wedding anniversary so the perfect day to finally share these stunning photos. We are so happy we got to share in your amazing day Ashley & Mike!

- Heather

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Our Love Story/Happily Ever After

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: After walking down the aisle I was overwhelmed with a flood of emotions as the day I had been dreaming about since I was a little girl was finally here! The moment that meant the most to me was hearing the words of my husband as he read his vows! It was Mike's idea to write our own vows, but never did I imagine that he would express his love for me so deeply. That moment and feeling was the most sincere and romantic moment of the whole dy and a moment I will cherish for my entire life.
Groom: My favourite moment was the first second I saw Ashley turn the corner and start walking down the aisle. It was a wave of emotion I have never felt before. I felt like I could burst into tear but was over whelmed with happiness. I t was such an overwhelming feeling.  That was definitely the most powerful moment of the wedding for me and something I will forever remember.

Best wedding related decision: To not have a reveal and wait to see each other for the first time as Ashley walked down the aisle. We would not trade that moment for the world!

Favourite detail: All of the personal touches (pictures, chalkboard quotes and small details) that made the venue feel like home and helped our guests see our love story unfold.

Advice for future brides & grooms: To enjoy every moment! The day goes by so quickly and feels like a whirlwind! Take a moment (just the two of you) to look around and feel the love between each other (that is what the day is all about!)

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We wouldn't change a thing - except to have an extra hour to dance and celebrate with our guests! We did not want the night to end!

Best surprise of the day: Hearing the heartfelt speeches and what the day our our relationship means to our family and friends!

Anything else you'd like to add: We want to thank our families for their love and support! We have never felt so blessed! The day would not have been the same or possible without each one of them! We would also like to thank all of our talented and amazing vendors who made our dream day and vision a reality and for capturing it so we can remember every moment for the rest of our lives!

Ashley + Darren
Bellamere Winery Wedding Photography

When the spring blossoms come out, it's my favorite time of year to shoot in. But, the blossoms are so fleeting and impossible to plan when they may be out so it's rare that we get them on a wedding day. Ashley and Darren's wedding ended up being the perfect time and we got both the beautiful cherry blossoms and magnolias for their photos!! We were all so happy! It was such a gorgeous day and this couple is so full of love for each other!!

- Heather

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Classic, romantic, and elegant with Victorian flair.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:  Seeing Darren in the church for the first time.  Also, the time between the ceremony and reception when we spent time photographing in the park.  It was time Darren and I were able to spend together - at a much slower pace than the rest of the day.
Groom:  The anticipation I felt waiting in the church and then seeing Ashley walk down the aisle.

Best wedding related decision:  Choosing Bellamere as the venue - the ambiance was exactly what we wanted and the staff were amazing!  Equally awesome were Heather and her assistant who kept us on track, laughing, and who captured all of special moments of our day perfectly!

Favourite detail:  All of the beautiful blossoms that seemed to "magically pop" just in time for our wedding day!  (Thank you, Dad!)

Advice for future brides & grooms:  Don't stress over all of the little details - it will all work out!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  Throughout the entire planning process we were blessed to work with extremely kind and talented people who helped to make our day exceptional - it all truly exceeded our expectations and our dreams were brought to life.  We would not have changed a thing!

Best surprise of the day:  The weather forecast had called for storms and rain.  We had beautiful weather all day.  After dinner, Heather pulled us out for a few last pictures.  Just then, a few raindrops started to fall creating the most beautiful, twinkling detail in our final shot of the day.

VENDORS: Ceremony Location: St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica | Reception Location: Bellamere Winery | Cake: Daisy's Delights | Dress: Boston by Maggie Sottero at Nicholas & Elizabeth Bridal in London | Flowers/Decorator: Springhill Flowers | Hair/Makeup: Salon Entrenous | Caterer: Custom Cuisine | DJ: Rick Addy (Professional MCDJ Entertainment)

Handel | Entrance: Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay | First Dance: 1000 Years by Christina Perri | Parent Dances: You Raise Me Up by Celtic Woman
