Chantel + Jason
{London Ontario Wedding Photography}

This day....was perfect! From the getting ready all the way to the fun dancing! I think everyone should have a live band - it brings such a different element to the reception! Chantel and Jason were so fun and easy going and their wedding party were a blast! I suprised the bride and groom with a collage of photos of the wedding party while they were getting some shots with the videographer. I loved that there was a soccer field behind the Portugese Club - we took advantage of that for their night shot since Portugal had just won the world cup a week prior and the groom is a HUGE soccer fan! Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Intimate, Fun

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:
 Stepping into my gown, walking down the isle, and having a great time with family and friends.

Groom: Seeing my wife walk down towards me in her beautiful gown, hearing the priest say you are now husband and wife, and spending the most important day with family and friends.

Best wedding related decision: We’ve got many but a few to list are; booking our photographer, videographer and professional decorator, and deciding on a band for our reception.

Favourite detail: We loved it all. What we loved the most was the floral arrangements/centrepieces(the orchids), we had a few hollow square table designs that sat 12 guests, I was able to sit all our friends together. To this day I still get compliments from the Portuguese community that had never seen it before.
We also had a table with photos of our guardian angels. That meant a lot to us and our families.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the planning and most importantly the big day because in one blink the night is over. I suggest paying a good buck for a photographer and videographer because they really do capture the day and allow you to relive that moment all over again and again for the rest of your life.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing!! It was all meant to be

Best surprise of the day: Seeing our finalized reception decor that we fell in love with, and our letters to one another that were delivered while we were getting ready

Carla & Eddie had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the lovely St. Peter's downtown London followed by a fun-filled reception at The Portuguese Club. I loved that we went to UWO, the place where they met! We visited some of the spots on campus where they spent a lot of time together!

Paula + Brian

bride and groom kissing st peters cathedral london ontario

Paula & Brian had a beautiful ceremony at the lovely St.Peters down town London. We then had a great photo session down town with their fun wedding party around the Peace Gardens and the Old Courthouse. We also made a quick trip for Paula to visit her sister at the cemetary, this was very important to Paula as her sister Vera was dearly missed on her big day. The couple had their wedding reception at the Portuguese Club, which was completely transformed, it looked incredible! Congrat Paula & Brian!

Kelly + Fil
{London Ontario Wedding Photography}

What a fun wedding this was! Kelly & Fil had a wonderful wedding that included their little guy Jaden as the ring bearer! After the ceremony, we were on a mission to find the most colourful tree around and we did! We found some beautiful fall colours at Kiwanis Park on the way to their reception hall, and we were so glad we did as the photos turned out amazing! Kelly's bridemaids were such great sports trekking through mud and nature to get to our perfect photo location!

Natalie & Danny
{London Ontario Wedding Photography}

What a beautiful wedding day this was.... it literally left me speechless. It was a chilly and overcast November day when we started out. Natalie's parents are both deceased, and when she walked into the church accompanied by her brothers all of a sudden the sun appeared out of nowhere and it was like a light switch went on - lighting up the whole church and shining down on this lovely bride. I've never seen it so bright in St. Peters. It was absolutely incredible, and from that point on a beam of light seemed to follow this couple for the rest of the day. My own mother had passed away just two weeks before this wedding, and this magic light that followed us round all day truly gave me a sense that your loved ones are always watching over you. Congrats Natalie & Danny and may this magic light always be with you!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Classic, simple, timeless & elegant.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Finally seeing Danny. Any nerves I had were gone immediately!
Groom: Sharing the day with friends & family.

Best wedding related decision: Having Heather & Niki take our photos!

Favourite detail: I thought that the bridesmaids looked incredible! The dark brown dresses with the leopard print shoes were amazing & pop of colour with the bouquets couldn’t have been more perfect.

Advice for future brides & grooms: The more you get done ahead of time, the more relaxed you are the week leading up to the wedding. We enjoyed every part of the day & more importantly remembered every single second!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nope, not a thing!

Best surprise of the day: Even though my parents weren’t with us physically that day, they seemed to light up every part of the day.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
The picture in the front yard of the Bishop’s mansion in front of the two pillars. That gorgeous light followed us from the time we woke up until the time we arrived at the reception!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The picture in the front yard of the Bishop’s mansion in front of the two pillars. That gorgeous light followed us from the time we woke up until the time we arrived at the reception! (below & top beginning image)

Natalie asked me to recreate a picture of her parents on their wedding day, and this is the result!

These two shots below are lit with completely natural light - a spotlight seemed to shine right on them through the front door!
