Jenna + Scott
{Timmins Ontario Wedding Photography}

It's not every day we travel to Timmins, Ontario for wedding! But when this inquiry came in I was all over it! We made a trip of it and it was such a fantastic wedding! I love shooting in an unfamiliar town town, so much fresh scenery, especially up north! Jenna and Scott had the most perfect weather and we found the perfect location for their photos! Hersey Lake had a forest and a beautiful view of the lake! Congrats Jenna and Scott, we had such a great time in Timmins!

Chantel + Jason
{London Ontario Wedding Photography}

This day....was perfect! From the getting ready all the way to the fun dancing! I think everyone should have a live band - it brings such a different element to the reception! Chantel and Jason were so fun and easy going and their wedding party were a blast! I suprised the bride and groom with a collage of photos of the wedding party while they were getting some shots with the videographer. I loved that there was a soccer field behind the Portugese Club - we took advantage of that for their night shot since Portugal had just won the world cup a week prior and the groom is a HUGE soccer fan! Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Intimate, Fun

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
 Stepping into my gown, walking down the isle, and having a great time with family and friends.

Groom: Seeing my wife walk down towards me in her beautiful gown, hearing the priest say you are now husband and wife, and spending the most important day with family and friends.

Best wedding related decision: We’ve got many but a few to list are; booking our photographer, videographer and professional decorator, and deciding on a band for our reception.

Favourite detail: We loved it all. What we loved the most was the floral arrangements/centrepieces(the orchids), we had a few hollow square table designs that sat 12 guests, I was able to sit all our friends together. To this day I still get compliments from the Portuguese community that had never seen it before.
We also had a table with photos of our guardian angels. That meant a lot to us and our families.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the planning and most importantly the big day because in one blink the night is over. I suggest paying a good buck for a photographer and videographer because they really do capture the day and allow you to relive that moment all over again and again for the rest of your life.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing!! It was all meant to be

Best surprise of the day: Seeing our finalized reception decor that we fell in love with, and our letters to one another that were delivered while we were getting ready

Jessica & Graham
{London Hunt Club Wedding Photography}

Jessica & Graham were so fun to work with on their wedding day! Their wedding day started out as the rainiest day ever, so we made a trip to Heeman's greenhouse before the ceremony to do their bridal party photos - it was the perfect location! We then headed to the other side of the city and made a quick pit stop at Sifton Bog for one shot of the bride and groom on the boardwalk in the rain! By the time we were ready to go to the Hunt Club for their ceremony, the rain had stopped and the sun was shining! After the ceremony we mananged to take advantage of the sunshine and took all the family photos outside and a few more bridal party ones too! Congrats Jessica and Graham and thanks for having faith in me in the rain!

Carly & Adam
{Sarnia Ontario Wedding Photography}

Carly is the cousin of one of my best friends Krista, who was also the maid of honor! I have know Carly for a long time, so photographing this moment for her was such a pleasure! I loved that we visited the spots that meant the most to Adam & Carly throughout their relationship, especially the fry truck, which is where they had their first date! I stayed til the very end and danced the night away with my friends and then got to capture one last photo of Adam & Carly walking away to their hotel at 1am!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:  Sweet, Simple, Romantic

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: When Adam forgot what to reply during our vows. We all had a good laugh and it set the tone for the rest of the day.
Groom: Seeing Carly for the first time.

Best wedding related decision: Having the ceremony outside. The summer had been pretty miserable up until that day. It was beautiful!

Favourite detail: Our cake topper! Adam had a blog called the ugly pony when we first started dating. The caketopper's groom had a horsehead, like the blog mascot, and the bride had a unicorn head.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Remember to laugh!!! And tell your wedding party to give you reminders throughout the day to take it all in.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not a single thing.

Best surprise of the day: When a friend of mine brought our dog, Daisy, to the ceremony for pictures! She's an important part of our family.
