Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Rustic chic with elegant touches.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:  The crazy-fun dancing during the reception, especially leading the traditional Greek bride’s dance “Oraia Poy 'Nai I Nifi Mas” with my family and friends.
Groom: Seeing Victoria walk down the aisle.

Best wedding related decision:  Our venue, the 100 year old barn at the Exeter Golf Club is beautiful inside and out, with great staff and a beautiful golf course for our ceremony and photographs.

Favourite detail:  All of the handmade touches my mom and I made together.

Advice for future brides & grooms:  If you are planning your own wedding, make sure you have a clear idea of what you want the day to be like from the start.  Once you have found it, stop searching the internet for more ideas.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  Other than getting a videographer, nothing.  It was a great day.

Best surprise of the day:  Not losing Victoria’s car keys when they were placed on top of our SUV by a friend.  The keys survived the 30 km drive, at 90 km/hr, from our accommodation to the wedding venue.  Talk about lucky!

Anything else you'd like to add: It was so special to have our baby girl Ryann as a flower girl.

Leanne + Bob
{Ancaster Old Mill Ancaster Ontario Wedding Photography}

Leanne & Bob are wonderful to be around. They are kind, funny and kept us smiling all day...I even got invited to take a romantic ride for 3 in the vintage Rolls Royce to their photo location! After reading their answers to the questionnaire below, they are still making me smile!

Vision/Theme: Rustic-Chic

Favourite memories:
Bride: I have many amazing memories from our wedding day, but my favourite would have to be seeing Bob waiting for me at the end of the aisle. I also loved spending time away from everyone, just us two, taking photographs at the waterfall. It was such a beautiful day and the waterfall was just perfect.

Groom: My favourite moments were reading my vows to my bride and when the officiant announced that we were husband and wife. But my most memorable moment was seeing Leanne walk down the aisle. I just couldn't find the words to describe how beautiful she looked and how lucky I am.

Best wedding related decision: We chose the perfect venue for our vision. But, we had the best photographers we could have asked for! Lindsay and Matt were simply amazing!

Favourite detail: The flowers were so beautiful!

Advice for future brides and grooms: Choose HRM Photography! I think the best advice I can give would be to take time away with just the two of you after the ceremony. The few days before and the day of are so busy and you hardly get a moment with each other alone. So, right after the ceremony, go somewhere, just you two and reflect on the day and enjoy it. enjoy each and every moment!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I don't think I would have changed a thing. Everything was perfect! Beautiful weather, amazing venue, wonderful photographers, and having our friends and family celebrate the day with us meant everything to us.

Best surprise of the day: How smooth everything went. There really wasn't anything that went wrong.

Adrienne + Ryan
{Muskoka Ontario Engagement Photography}

There are days when it's hard to call what I do a "job" and wandering around gorgeous Muskoka on a sunny evening with Adrienne & Ryan would definitely be classified as one of those days! It was also a great chance to take a peek around the cottage property to take notes for the wedding day. Stay tuned for those photos!

Jennifer + Bill
{Balzac's Coffee Roaster Toronto Ontario Wedding Photography}

I always look forward to photographing weddings at Balzac's Coffee in the Distillery District. This cute little cafe sets the tone for a warm, cozy and intimate evening celebrating love. Jennifer and Bill chose beautiful decorations to add their personal touch to the space. I really enjoyed photographing this union...and definitely teared up when their son wiped away tears during the vows!
