Erin and Ryan had a beautiful wedding reception on her parent's farm, the apple orchard was in bloom and there was no shortage of amazing photo locations! They were married at the same church Erin's Parents were married over 30 years before! At the reception the bride surprised the groom with a drone as a gift!!

This day....was perfect! From the getting ready all the way to the fun dancing! I think everyone should have a live band - it brings such a different element to the reception! Chantel and Jason were so fun and easy going and their wedding party were a blast! I suprised the bride and groom with a collage of photos of the wedding party while they were getting some shots with the videographer. I loved that there was a soccer field behind the Portugese Club - we took advantage of that for their night shot since Portugal had just won the world cup a week prior and the groom is a HUGE soccer fan! Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Intimate, Fun

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Stepping into my gown, walking down the isle, and having a great time with family and friends.

Groom: Seeing my wife walk down towards me in her beautiful gown, hearing the priest say you are now husband and wife, and spending the most important day with family and friends.

Best wedding related decision: We’ve got many but a few to list are; booking our photographer, videographer and professional decorator, and deciding on a band for our reception.

Favourite detail: We loved it all. What we loved the most was the floral arrangements/centrepieces(the orchids), we had a few hollow square table designs that sat 12 guests, I was able to sit all our friends together. To this day I still get compliments from the Portuguese community that had never seen it before.
We also had a table with photos of our guardian angels. That meant a lot to us and our families.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the planning and most importantly the big day because in one blink the night is over. I suggest paying a good buck for a photographer and videographer because they really do capture the day and allow you to relive that moment all over again and again for the rest of your life.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing!! It was all meant to be

Best surprise of the day: Seeing our finalized reception decor that we fell in love with, and our letters to one another that were delivered while we were getting ready

What a gorgeous wedding day Kelly and Daniel had! It was perfectly planned with the help of Blissful Weddings. Weddings at Fanshawe Pioneer Village are always some of our favorites - this was the first time we had done a tented wedding there, and the clear top one they had was soooo pretty! Kudos to North Moore Catering, Rossini Floral, Salon Entrenous and DJ Alpha for being part of our dream team for the day!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Activity packed fun party

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Seeing my new husband smiling and laughing and have such a great time. Seeing all the guests having fun and staying to enjoy the party,
Groom: Seeing my bride to be coming down the aisle. Seeing old friends and watching everyone enjoy themselves.

Best wedding related decision: Not limiting our guest list (reaching out to old friends) and each vendor we chose.

Bride's favourite detail: The small picture frames of my dad and my puppy intertwined in my bouquet.

Groom's favourite detail: The suit he chose.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Remember on the wedding day (while the girls are getting ready) to provide food and refreshments.  Secondly provide activities to keep the guests engaged. We really wanted our guests to have fun.  We wanted the guests to stay and party (which they did) If you want your guests to dance you as the bride and groom need to be dancing too.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? No we thought the day was amazing

Best surprise of the day: We still had a full dance floor and guests not eager to leave at 1am!

Anything else you'd like to add: When booking vendors pick people with good reputations. Positive feedback from others and the ability to keep you on schedule. We are so pleased with everyone we worked with. HRM in particular.  Heather kept our families organized and did a great job.
