Anita + Will
{Old Courthouse Wedding Photography}

Anita & Will's wedding was pure perfection! Looking back on these photos a year later, I barely remember that it rained for most of the day! These two are such a gracious and loving couple - from the first moment I met them, I could tell how big their hearts are and that they care so much for their friends & family. It was such a pleasure being a part of their wedding day - it really felt like we were documenting the day of old friends!!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Vintage, soft, romantic, birds, warm

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: There's too many to really pin point, and the day went by fast! I think our first dance is one of my favourite.
Groom: The way she looked.

Best wedding related decision: Floral, Photographer/Video, Cheeseburgers, Wedding Planner

Favourite detail: Head table & memory table

Advice for future brides & grooms: There's really not enough time to say hi to everyone. Also, when the day comes, just ride the wave and enjoy. Hire a wedding planner. Have pockets put in your dress.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? If I could have stopped the rain.... and maybe do an earlier mass, to have more time with guests.

Best surprise of the day: Seeing the venue for the first time was a great surprise and the cake!

Anything else you'd like to add: We didn't expect the day to be so emotional. It was truly the best day of our lives. The food was amazing!

Erin + Ryan

Erin and Ryan had a beautiful wedding reception on her parent's farm, the apple orchard was in bloom and there was no shortage of amazing photo locations! They were married at the same church Erin's Parents were married over 30 years before! At the reception the bride surprised the groom with a drone as a gift!!

It's not every day we travel to Timmins, Ontario for wedding! But when this inquiry came in I was all over it! We made a trip of it and it was such a fantastic wedding! I love shooting in an unfamiliar town town, so much fresh scenery, especially up north! Jenna and Scott had the most perfect weather and we found the perfect location for their photos! Hersey Lake had a forest and a beautiful view of the lake! Congrats Jenna and Scott, we had such a great time in Timmins!

Chantel + Jason

This day....was perfect! From the getting ready all the way to the fun dancing! I think everyone should have a live band - it brings such a different element to the reception! Chantel and Jason were so fun and easy going and their wedding party were a blast! I suprised the bride and groom with a collage of photos of the wedding party while they were getting some shots with the videographer. I loved that there was a soccer field behind the Portugese Club - we took advantage of that for their night shot since Portugal had just won the world cup a week prior and the groom is a HUGE soccer fan! Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Intimate, Fun

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:
Stepping into my gown, walking down the isle, and having a great time with family and friends.

Groom: Seeing my wife walk down towards me in her beautiful gown, hearing the priest say you are now husband and wife, and spending the most important day with family and friends.

Best wedding related decision: We’ve got many but a few to list are; booking our photographer, videographer and professional decorator, and deciding on a band for our reception.

Favourite detail: We loved it all. What we loved the most was the floral arrangements/centrepieces(the orchids), we had a few hollow square table designs that sat 12 guests, I was able to sit all our friends together. To this day I still get compliments from the Portuguese community that had never seen it before.
We also had a table with photos of our guardian angels. That meant a lot to us and our families.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the planning and most importantly the big day because in one blink the night is over. I suggest paying a good buck for a photographer and videographer because they really do capture the day and allow you to relive that moment all over again and again for the rest of your life.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing!! It was all meant to be

Best surprise of the day: Seeing our finalized reception decor that we fell in love with, and our letters to one another that were delivered while we were getting ready
